Millsite Engineering
Co., Inc. has been in business for over 20 years with its roots based
in providing the industry with manual mills, lathes and surface grinders.
Through a natural progression, Millsite Engineering has become a major player
in providing CNC machinery, along with new product development. We
carry
an extensive line of standard mills, lathes, surface grinders, CNC Bed Mills
and Vertical Machining Centers. Our products are supported by a knowledgeable
staff and an in-stock inventory of machines, parts and accessories.
Our basic machinery is all ISO 9002 approved. In
addition, our manual and CNC mills are manufactured to meet and exceed rigid quality
control standards using Dr. Geo Schlesinger's minimum standards. Tolerances are maintained utilizing
"Meehanite" castings,
castings, hardened and ground ways, "Turcite B" on the slide surfaces and
class 7 bearings. Our CNC Bed Mills incorporate both tilt-able and rigid-head
designs with R8, #30T, #40T, BT40 or CAT40 taper spindles, and are retrofitted with various
Centroid, PC-based, conversational
CNC controls. In our continuing effort to be a leader in our field,
we recently introduced the Rhino VMC1660 Machining Center with CAT40 taper,
16 Tool ATC and Centroid CNC control.
