The powerful yet easy to use the
CENTROID M400 CNC control will digitize your hand shaped Intake,
Exhaust and combustion chambers in 5 axes. Easy export to Mastercam
X via the ethernet LAN or USB port to create the toolpaths. Inverse
time toolpaths are generated for the smoothest fastest cut possible.
Very little hand work is necessary after the machine has ported
the head.
Graphics of the digitized path and the tool path shows you your
work as you go.

A new casting is placed on the
machine, the operator sets the Zero point, loads the cutting tool
and the control machines the exact shape that was copied from the
original hand shaped port. Rough and finish passes are automatically
created. CNC Intake, Exhaust and Combustion Chambers are all created
in this way.
In addition to porting heads this machine is also a fully featured
5 axis cnc machine that can be used for a multitude of other
engine related machining tasks such as: Cylinder head O-ring grooves,
piston work, intake manifold work, and anything requiring drilling,
tapping, pocketing, contouring, grooving, boring, facing, Engraving
and more! |

The TRT-25-100 Tilt Table
provides precise cylinder head positioning to within .001" repeatability.
The unique ballscrew design outperforms other dual rotary designs
on the market. Fully programmable 5 axis Tilt table allows the
cutter or the digitizing probe to reach into curved ports. Full
360 degree rotation and 50 degrees of tilt allow you to get into
all those hard to reach spaces. The Tilt table can hold a wide
range of cylinder heads. |

Onsite training get you
up to speed quickly. Comprehensive CNC digitizing and porting training
is included with the package. We teach you how to CNC port cylinder
heads better than anyone.
In addition to new work, the RED Rhino
is popular for repair of existing combustion chambers. As long
as you have one good chamber remaining, you can copy that chamber,
then you weld up the damaged ones and re-cut and the machine will
return them to identical matches to the original shape. |
